They are three kinds of insurance adjusters:

The Staff Adjuster, the Independent Adjuster, and the Public Adjuster.

1) The Staff Adjuster is directly hired by the Insurance company.

2) The Independent Adjuster is a subcontractor hired by the insurance company when a

catastrophic event overwhelms the ability of there staff adjusters to handle all the claims that are coming in.

3) The Public Adjuster works strictly for the policy holder.

Linder Baker Adjusting is a License Public Adjuster that works directly for the policy holder.

The standard fee for public adjusting services is a small percentage of the amount recovered from the insurance company. State insurance departments license public adjusters and regulate fees. On very large claims, fees are negotiable. The cost for Appraisal is typically a time and expense but we have also seen it as a small percentage of the recovery.

Meet with us for a no-obligation meeting and we will evaluate and discuss your claim with you. If applicable, we will show you samples of a completed claims that are similar to yours.
